"Al Watt
is a traditionalist, a wizard, a jester, a therapist, a drill sergeant, and a
high priest. He understands the primacy of structure, but never loses
sight of the power of the imagination and the unconscious mind.
He will speak to both hemispheres of your brain, instilling
the hard rules of craft while coaxing your muse out of hiding. And
the best part of all? After 90 days, no matter what, you will have a
finished screenplay."
--
Allison Burnett (screenwriter of Fame,
Untraceable, and Resurrecting the Champ)
When the
screenwriter has a sense of the story that lives within and
a direction for where it wants to go, the writing process springs to life. This
workshop is designed for the serious-minded
screenwriter who is willing to commit to writing
two hours a day.
In each class Al works
one-on-one with a number of students in order to illustrate the principles
discussed. Every class is recorded and can be listened to as often as
you like for up to 30 days.
HOW IT WORKS:
The 90-Day Screenplay is
an intensive 27-class tele-course where you will receive all the practical
tools you'll need to complete your screenplay, from initial idea, through
outline, first draft, and rewrite. Each class begins with a lecture,
followed by a series of stream-of-consciousness writing exercises and

class as well as an emailed summary of the points covered.
